Obalufe is one of the Hgh Chiefs in Ile- Ife. Obalufe is the second in rank to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, Olubuse ll, the Ooni of Ife
And he is also the Prince Minister of Ile- Ife.
They have four ruling houses via-
(a) Ajagusi
(b)Adogbodo
(c)Aga and
(d)Jaojo
The Chieftaincy is rotated among the four ruling houses.
His Imperial Majesty Oba Okunade Sijuwade, Olubuse ll, the Ooni of Ife is the consenting and prescribe authority over the appointment of Obalufe Chieftaincy title. |
